About The Tacoma Anarchist Network
The Tacoma Anarchist Network is composed of anarchists in the city of Tacoma. This website serves us by allowing different groups, blogs, magazines, events, literature and demonstrations to be easily accessible to others in Tacoma and the surrounding area without the baggage and political leveling that often comes with formal organizations (Anti-War groups, NGOs, Labor Unions, etc). That being said, we are not an ‘Organization’ as it is commonly understood; rather, we are a collective of individuals whose ideas are as unique as our personal projects.
We have made available a list of other resources, book distributors, publishers, review sites, blogs and more. Some of the sites are local others are national or international. Those listed under comrades are those we have strong connections or affinity with. On the main page we post mostly events around Tacoma and the larger area. Most of these events happen at the M11 (check out the M11 Social Space page for more info).
